I
recently switched to the Hoodman RAW cards when a couple of my old cards
failed. Thankfully I was able to recover the images, but it was a PITA. When I
am shooting weddings, the number one priority for me is reliability... there are
no do-overs... no re-shoots... no second chances. The shots have to be there.
Also, as someone who shoots thousands and thousands of images at every event,
speed is also of the essence and I don't ever want to fill my buffer. When I am
"workin' it" with a bride and/or groom... I don't want to be slow downed by slow
writing cards. RAW cards are fast and reliable and I've been very impressed with
their performance so far.
